Zambia and Zimbabwe

Drought and famine-stricken villages receive much needed food and clothes. Showing the Jesus film and distribution of Bibles and tracts also accompany the relief aid, and we have witnessed many people express joy as they receive their first Bible in their native language.

The AIDS epidemic has devastated the countries of sub-Saharan Africa, including Zambia and Zimbabwe. In fact, the statistics indicate that in some areas, one-fourth of the adult male population may be infected with HIV. Deaths due to AIDS have wrecked communities and destroyed families leaving thousands of homeless orphans, many of them HIV-positive. To this end, we are partnering with others to help support an orphanage in Zambia. The needs are so great among these children.
