Faith in Action

Our Work

Faith in Action is a non-profit, Christian organization which exists to glorify God by serving those who are suffering. This is accomplished through Evangelism, Development and Relief Aid.

Faith in Action exists to glorify God, in obedience to the Scriptures, by communicating the Love of God to those who are suffering - by Word and deed. God has said: love God first, then your neighbor as yourself (Matt. 22:37-39), make disciples of all nations (Matt. 28:19-20), speak up for those who can not speak for themselves and defend their rights (Prov. 31:8-9), rescue the weak and needy and deliver them from the hand of the wicked (Psalm 82:3-4), and love, not by words or tongue, but with actions and truth (I John 3:16-18).

Thus, being driven to action, we seek to demonstrate God's love by reaching out to those who are poor, neglected, and suffering in the crisis areas of the world. We do this through three main methods: evangelism, development, and relief aid.

Evangelism. We seek to bring people to a saving knowledge of the Lord, Jesus Christ, the only hope of salvation. We routinely show the Jesus film and God's story from Genesis to Revelation, distribute Bibles and tracts in native languages, share our faith to those God brings to us, and partner with local churches in their ministries.

Development. We seek to help people rebuild their lives and follow God's principles. Our vision is Christ centered families and communities. This may involve establishing churches and Christian schools, Bible schools for the training of new pastors and leaders, providing jobs, enabling families to grow their own food, rebuilding homes, and caring for widows, AIDS orphans and street children.

Relief Aid. In crisis areas of the world, where people are without even the basic necessities of life, like food, clothes, shelter, basic medical help, and adequate water, we seek to follow Jesus' example and provide these necessities. Such action allows us the privilege of loving those who are in life's extreme circumstances, many of whom, are outcasts of society.
